1) Marble
Marble is still having its moment as there is no market untouched by the stone. To easily incorporate some marble in your home, try the material on homewares or kitchen accessories, pairing the material with wood or metal. Marble chopping boards, pestle and mortars as well as small wall shelves will help create a luxe look in your home without the expense of renovating your main living areas.
2) Coastal Modern
A cool coastal spin on the midcentury postmodern interior trend, the coastal modern look is the way to go if you love a carefree and clean feel. Whether you live in Bankstown or Bondi, take the beach home with the hot, coastal modern look. Fresh blues, cool greys, warm tans and lots of white space are the key to mastering this look. Tiffany blue is back and spring is the ideal time to dust your home in the rich colour. Use navy blue accents to create depth in your home without going overboard.
5) Dreamy Hues
Muted colours are super on-trend this year with hues such as steam milk white, buff, seal skin grey, camel, and blush pink. “Greige”, a combination of grey and beige, is an emerging colour on the market. The hybrid is perfect when you are on the fence about your muted colour choice as it can go to either the cool side or the warm side.
